shipsta New Member May 13, 2008 #1 i HAVE A 96 LS. I swapped out the engine with a 98 Type R JDM. The JDM ECU does not put out a link for scanners, so I am not passing emisssions because there is no link. What ECU Do I need to get? OBD2A or OBD2B? P73 or P72?

DC2GSR N/A is best! Jun 12, 2009 #2 I'm pretty sure there is no emissions on JDM engines. As for the ECU, you're going to need a P73 from a USDM ITR.
