the CR-V is a B20. he's already a liar.

people do B20 vtec's tho. they run a B16 head and use whatever intake manifold they want.

b20 vtec uses a b20 block (crv vtec or what ever nonsense this is called)
LS Vtec uses the b18a/b18b block.
g23 uses a f23 block with a h22 head
the new shit is a k24 block and k20 head

nope. the crv originally came with a B20 non vtec. people run the B20 with an LS crank and a B16 head.

just tell that guy he is a liar until you see the motor personally.

you can also use a gsr head. Most people use a b16 head cause its easier to find and "it flows better" and is designed for more of a NA style build where the gsr "doesnt flow as well" (which is complete bullox) builds compression easier but isnt designed as well for NA builds

Cranks are the same between the B18B's/A's and the B20. The difference between these motors is the bore, and the cylinder wall design.
