what are some parts I could replace in order to get better gas mileage?
I'm getting about 450km a tank so far with a mix of city and highway driving.
I just put in new iridium NGK and NGK spark plug wires the other week.

New petrol cap if you have an older one will help a bit. Driving in a relaxed manner and not gunning it all the time will also help.

Synthetic oil is suppose to help with a 2% increase, but I don't think it's worth it, especially if you plan to switch back and forth to conventional oil.

I replaced the fuel filter on my car myself and I didn't notice as much a difference, compared to replacing the spark plugs and wire with NGK.

I don't know if replacing the fuel pump on a 14 year old car would make a big difference.
