how high are your RPMs in your automatic DA?

Like the title says what are your average rpms in an automatic DA9? Im looking at buying one from where i work and at 65-70mph its about 3-3200rpms....is this average for a 1990? it has 136xxxmiles on it and isnt in bad shape just curious if it should be in a lower rpm range

Thank you guys! I figured for a 1990 the technology wasnt that great so the rpms were going to be higher its just crazy how in 93/94 the rpms are in the 2k range at the same speed.

I know my 5 speed at 65 runs at 3250 RMPS give or take.. Imagine it would be about the same for a 4 speed auto.

These cars werer made when freeway speed was 55 so they are factor tuned for best MPG based on the max speed limit of that era.

yes my auto gets around 3000 rpm in the 65 to 70 range, so im assuming it is normal for these old cars
