okay I was at the Acura dealer today just for some routine maintenance and I was talking to one of the sales people. He was telling me that the rsx is going to be dropped off the Acura line and maybe become part of Honda’s line as the “Honda Integra”?! Is any of this BS true?

acura is now about the high end vechiles, they said the rsx was too "cheap" for the new ACURA. in a way it would make sense if the rsx/integra went to honda.. the low end / middle class range

just think of it as toyota and lexus.... lexus dropped their cheapest car to toyota... thats if what you're saying is true

I thought the RSX was called the Integra everywhere else on the planet, not just Japan.
This year is the last year for the RSX, that's true. The RSX just can't compete at it's price point anymore. You can get a Civic Si or a WRX, which are very comparable in performance, for thousands less, and you can get an Sti or an Evo, which blow away the RSX in performance, for a few thousand more. Plus Acura wants move it's line really high end, and the RSX doesn't fit the image they want to portray for the Acura line.
It's true Honda is going to put out a turbocharged car for the first time ever, but I can't remember which car is going to get da boost.

the rdx....like my post above...its all old news...nuttin special, there are already plenty of ppl lined up to do a engine swap...but why? its just a stock turbo engine, maybe its cuz honda built a engine that can handle boost...but u can do and better with aftermarket products. but either way turbo charged suv = FTL

yes, rsx aslo just isnt as appealling anymore and its sales have been declining over the yrs so, acura is going to stick to luxury and not to keeping one genneration also the nsx is gone as of next yr too so thats two wonderful cars gone
