New manifold, no tune

2000 gsr 74k, just bought it

Skunk intake, "racing fuel pump", thermal exhaust, new vtec head (stock cams)

I drive the car the throttle cuts out at 2k where I can't drive it. No codes pop up.

Can't figure out why, good TPS.

Is it the ecu needs to be tuned because of the skunk or should it not matter and should I be looking at somthing else?

Map? 02? head adjustment? I'm wondering if there is an obvious solution to the syptoms before I start testing and buying each.

None of those parts would make the engine stop reving at 2k like that.

Why is there a "new vtec head"? Thats suspicious.
Stock Ecu or chipped OBD1 Ecu?

Anything that should limit the engine so abruptly should trigger a CEL. Why dont you get an OBD2 code scanner and read the Ecu anyways just for giggles. Does the CEL flash when you key the ignition on to confirm that the light works?

I have a scanner with no codes. Although I'll run it again check the sensors. The cel works.

Its def possible and common to switch MAP and TPS but it would result in a CEL which you dont have.
