obd1 n obd2 question, explain it

Alright I have heard these a hundred times. What exactly are they n why is one better than the other for specific setups. Sorry if this already been asked couldn't find anything

excuse me. sorry i didnt google it. thanks even though u were sarcastic about it. how do i know which system i have.

i have a 90 ls. which is going to be the best for it if i turbo

you have pre-obd. also known as obd0. (that is if your car hasnt been modified by any previous owner.). from what i read, obd1 would be best.
