please help me pass emmissions

I just bought a 1991 Integra and took it to emissions and it failed on the carbon monoxide by .79.
It is supposed to be at 12.00 but was at 12.79. It failed by a hair. Has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone know what could be wrong? Please help me out. Thanks.

what modifications? how long did you warm up your car prior

It is stock, it was 30 minutes driving to the emission place.

Did you did a tune up along with an oil change? I had that problem like that too but on a 91 supra turbo. I replaced my air filter, spark plugs and spark plug wires along with a new fuel pump. I also changed the oil and checked all my hoses for any leaks. After that, my supra pass emissions/smog check.

where are you?
if all is good and you did not pass than get a can of 44k and burn that tank of gas(I mean run it hard to grt and keep it hot for some time). fill up in the morn and re try. get it hot and keep it that way till tested.
I have failed badly and flew through the next day
asked if it was the sdame car????

Thanks for the help. i cleaned out the intake and spark plugs and it passed.
