problem with my acceleration

wen i hit the gas the car wants to stall and i sputters but then just launches and rite around 3500 and higher it backfires during accel any ideas?

fuel filter maybe? and check the timing, could be off a tooth, or dizzy way off.

yea, so many things can cause that

could be any thing from timing to bent valve, or something as simple as fuel prob. i dunno how mechanical you are or if the car has been apart recently but its pretty hard to get the distributor off on a honda, check the spark plug wires first sounds sill but i have seen it before make sure no 1 goes to no 1 ect. ect.

do a tune up, and then go from there if its stil doing it

I had that problem check your tps and it happen to me when I wash my engine and got some water between the wires and spark plugs.
