Rear defrost heat strips aern't working

The heat strips on my rear window dont work its not the fuse i checked already. how can i fix that? Do i have to get a whole new window or hatch?:???:

the connection might be broken within the strips, check them with a test light, you can buy copper based paint at napa for like 10 bucks.
