so my buddy has a 1992 civic lx 1.5 liter single over head cam bone stock. the problem is it will start and run for about 2 minutes at idle, 5-10 minutes at higher rpm's, then it shuts down and won't start again until the next day. can anyone help us out? your help would be greatly appreaciated.

could be vac leaks cheak all your hose or could be iacv or main relay i replaced all that then i was good i had the same problem wit mines when i got my 90 teg but my iacv is still fucked thanks to goodyear but its cool i just unplug the iacv hose then wait abou ten mins then crank right up but check engine light comes on but that iacv can be pain in ass but relays could also be bad mines wouldnt start too if i parked in the sun either but thats the main relay if your car does that shit
