main reason i painted the manifold is because i bought it used and it was pretty dirty. after MANY degreasing efforts (unsuccesful i might add) i decided that while i'm in the painting mood, i might as well pick up some engine paint and have at it with the manifold. manifold is in otherwise great shape. gonna have the surfaces where the manifold bolts to the head and where the throttle body resurfaced to be 100% flat and true so i wasn't TOOOOOO worried about overspray.
