so ive been doing lots and lots of research and everything is so damn contradicting. everyone says one thing and everyone else says another thing. so plan and simple. here we go. plan on putting in a 99-00 b20b engine into my 98 integra ls.

now for the questions

1.) can this engine run on my current ecu?

2.) if not what is needed to have it run?

3.) do i need to swap all the sensors from my old b18b1 to the new engine?

4.) do i have to do the ckf bypass?

i think this is all i have for now. i know i need to switch over the intake, crank pull, ac and ps brackets. if im missing something please inform me as for this is the first swap ill be doing. it seems pretty straight forward. a rather easy swap. im not looking to race the car or build it at this time. winter is coming and had to put my bike away. any help would be much appreciated.

-thanks rex

No fucks given.
I'm about 90% sure that since your car is already OBDII, it should be a plug n play swap. Yank out your old motor, throw the new one in and replace what you already know to replace (Intake/exhaust mani, crank pulley, brackets)

Pull your LS motor, place b20 motor back into its spot, use all your LS OBD parts such as ECU, Wiring, Injectors, Alternator and Distributor. You will not have to swap out any sensors. This is prob the easiest swap out there since its all bolt in and plug and play. You will need to use your LS intake manifold as someone else already suggested.

i did. so you suggest converting to obd1 and getting tuned. how would i go about doing this? just a conversion harness for the ecu and a chipped obd1 ecu?

All you need to do is buy an obd2a to obd1 jumper harness for your ecu and an obd1 ecu to tune on everything else you can use.

if your engine is jdm b20b, you will have to do the ckf bypass or if you dont want to do that, youll have to swap out oil pumps because the jdm b20bs dont have the sensor.

Depending on the B20, you may need to use your LS intake. Some B20's had high rise intakes on them. Easy swap, and better than your B18. You will love it.
