Can my LS be tuned to benefit from premium fuel?

I know that in old cars, you could advance the timing and use premium fuel.
Can such a thing be done with a 99 LS or is there no adjustment?

I was under the impression they called for 91-97 octane anyway, I had a gsr though.

To tune it properly you’d need an ECU that could be tuned, plus whatever a tuner would charge you to tune it, but for a stock car there is no benefit, in fact all you’re doing is making gas more expensive for yourself.

Fuel octane does make a difference, that's why the UK FK8 makes more power than the US FK8.
But in this case I wouldn't bother retuning a stock B18B1 for it. Get some bolt-ons and then tune it for 91.
