LOOKING FOR OPINIONS ON GS-R ENGINE SWAP

I am looking at a 1992 Integra GS-R for sale. It is mostly stock except for what's going on under the hood. The owner has swapped out the stock B17 engine for (what he calls upgrades) a "rebuilt B18 Vtec motor has only 160 km and better B20 bottom for more power". Also states in the ad: "Tien coil overs and has the high compression"

What are your general thoughts on this? Are these considered upgrades? Is the stock B17A1 engine more desirable?

The GS-R is increasing in value and becoming a classic car. I'm wondering what effect this engine swap will have for its re-sale value.

Thanks in advance for your responses

It will certainly hurt resale. The B17 is a very rare engine and I imagine finding one today is even more of a challenge. A b20/vtec is nothing special and was done a million times over.

I would take off a considerable chunk of that cars value because it lacks the B17.
