I'd give 8,000 for a stock GS with low miles and good condition. Been looking for one for years and there isn't one within 100 miles of here. I looked at a GSR with 150,000 on it and really wanted it.
I've got 256,000 plus on my auto traansmission and I'd drive it anywhere. But, taking a car that old on a 4,000 mile trip is probably not a good idea. Why not rent a car for the trip? Something comfortable, or else fly, which is probably your cheapest option and makes a whole lot more sense.
B20 swap in a 99 Integra 2 dr hatch automatic. Not long ago, it began to bog on acceleration until it gets to 3,000 rpm. Need some help diagnosing this. Thanks.

Failed Fuel Pump (Main) Relay
The main relay, which supplies power to the fuel pump, can fail. The engine will crank but fail to start (or start intermittently).
Stock cooling via the radiator which was just replaced with a new OEM unit. Decided not to do the Seafoam. The tranny seems to get better with each fluid change yet there is lots of black stuff on the magnet. I'm procrastinating on replacing the unit but It's going to have to be done sooner...

Thanks for all the helpful advice. A year later, I still haven't changed the automatic transmission. Yesterday I did the 3rd fluid change with Mobil 1 synthetic ATF and this has helped. Going with better brand name gasoline helped a lot too, surprisingly. But the tranny is still worn out...
My biggest mistake was probably not changing the auto tranny fluid often enough. And at 223,000 it has seen better days. Rebuild plus a Transgo shift kit would be my route. Not sure if any company makes a reprogramming kit for it.

I read that once you start using the high mileage oil, you have to keep using it because it does something to the valve seals. Mine uses a quart every 1,000 miles and you can smell the exhaust and tell it is using oil but it doesn't smoke.
Look for a local used engine dealer. The ones here sell low mileage engines from Japan. I got a B20B for around $700 plus installation. May be more than you want to spend but you'd hae a good engine for a long time.
