Engine accelerates poorly (bogs) until it hits 3,000 rpm. Then it takes off like a rocket.

B20 swap in a 99 Integra 2 dr hatch automatic. Not long ago, it began to bog on acceleration until it gets to 3,000 rpm. Need some help diagnosing this. Thanks.

Can my LS be tuned to benefit from premium fuel?

I know that in old cars, you could advance the timing and use premium fuel. Can such a thing be done with a 99 LS or is there no adjustment?

Need advice: Is this 2000 Teg worth $4000?

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/cto/4912521524.html 109,000 miles. Only issues seem to be the paint job and the drivers seat. Repairs would not be cheap at a dealer. Can't drive a stick due to war injuries so this is my ticket to a nice car. What you guys thinkin?

    Royal Purple old wives tale.

People keep repeating an old wives tale about Royal Purple that states once you start using it you have to keep using it. In actuality, the story should be about high mileage oils, not RP. Video explains why. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6HmEqFdeIY

No more Royal Purple motor oil for me.

Besides the high price, here's what I didn't like about it. 1- My engine was starting on 3 compression strokes with Mobile 1. With Royal Purple it was taking five. 2- When my car sat for five days without being started, it was like all the oil had drained off the parts. It took forever to...

Front right wheel scrapes when turning right

97 auto trans w. B20B swap. Sharp right turn and right front wheel makes loud scraping noise, metal on metal. It scraped some before swap but that sounded more like rubber on something. I've had the tie rods replaced and lower control arms with poly bushings installed. Car was aligned...

    Seafoam in my automatic transmission?

My '97 Teg's automatic transmission is going to need to go to the shop, but before I spend $800, I'm thinking about putting a ten dollar can of Seafoam Trans Tune in it and running it for a while and then changing the fluid. Anyway, what do you guys think? Waste of time/money or go for it...

A very good article about our cars.

This appears to be a well written article telling about all the years of Integras and what options they had. I learned my '97 is a GS which had been called Special Edition in previous years. http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/default.aspx?carID=51

Help. What is this part called?

Right side of car, looking in the wheel well from behind the tire. Wheels are turned all the way to the left. A part number would also be helpful. I'm a bit lost because I don't know what this is called. Thanks. Notice the boot is torn and sparated.

    What is the rarest teg?

Are there any production figures available for 3rd gen? Were there any special editions? Rarest options/colors etc? It's time to start thinking about preserving rare and unmolested tegs that are in great condition. My GS DB7 has been hit and it's not all original but I sure wish I had...

A testimonial for Kseal and oil testing.

After buying Teggie, I had her first oil change tested by Blackstone Labs. The report was bad. Coolant in the oil was doing bad things to the bearings and other engine parts. The good news was Teggie's engine wasn't toast yet and could be saved. Enter Kseal. They guy at the parts store gave...
