Ok, so I'm buttoning up my head gasket swap on a non-VTEC B18B1 and I came across a connector that I: a.) didn't label (labelled everything else.) b.) have no idea where it goes.. It's in the same bundle that runs up under the intake manifold on the drivers side. It actually looks like it...

Well, I thought i'd update this just a bit for future searches and we can also find out if I made a mistake.. Wound up ordering from Rock Auto. $217 shipped vs $500+ shipped.. Picked up nothing but Felpro and Gates products.

Yeh, I'll give it a shot. 95B18B, wanna part with one if I need it? On a side note, how do you guys feel about eGay gaskets for the nonessential stuff? I'm getting OEM head gaskets, etc, but thought about picking up a cheap eBay kit for the inevitable "ahh forgot to order that.."

Ok, so I busted out the cracked area.. It was ready to go and smoothed it as best I could with the tools on hand.. I have a new found respect for dentists.. Still usable you think?

If I had to take a guess, the gorilla who worked on this thing once upon a time "torqued'er down reaaal guud!" I threw a timing belt too far from home and civilization. Let a local mechanic do the work.. Ouch at all his screw ups.. The list is fairly lengthy, of course 99.9% of it didn't show...

Well, more fun with my head gasket swap.. Was looking at one of the journals and found this... I know I can't just swap the part for one off a junk yard vehicle, so anyone have any suggestions before I get creative with the JB Weld?
