So I recently just purchased a 03 Acura TL type S with 255,000 Miles. Got the car for super cheap and needed it as a commuter for college. The transmission was replaced at 170,000 miles by Acura with the updated transmission.... however, when the car is cruising at highway speeds (65-75) in D5, the revs jump about 200 rpm up- like a slight lunge. The car also makes a weird humming noise when first starting the car up and putting it in gear but don’t think the two are related...Other than that, the car shifts fine and has no issues but it’s just incredibly annoying.
