My brother used to run his Opel Manta with an extra quart of oil, recommended by a friend, and never had any problems. Should I bite the bullet and drain 1/3?
PS. I don't need any smug replies like 'If you like replacing seals that sounds like a great idea'. I know conventional wisdom says drain it, but if someone here has experience running a little extra I'd like to hear from you!
