Trying to sell this car but not sure about pricing. Listed at $2990, willing to take less. What is reasonable? Car is 5 door/manual with 141K original miles. Body in very, very good shape for age. Very clean. Well maintained. Needs new power steering rack and A/C compressor. Also has leaking valves and gaskets. Otherwise runs great and looks great. Buyers like the car but no offers. Any ideas? Mechanic says it should sell for $2,200 - $2,500. Ideas or offers welcome!:) Car was kept in garage at home and at work. Lots of TLC for it's entire life. All original in and out. Would we be better parting out?

Lets see, an 88' with need for new parts, and a head rebuild... My man, look to get 1500 or less.

No fucks given.
A G1 in perfect condition couldn't even fetch 2k, let alone a busted one for 3k... Considering someone would rather buy a G3 for 3k, I'd say you're more likely to get around $1200 at best, and that's only because it's an SE.
