Hello I am new here and looking to see if anyone can help point me in where i should start first? I bought it with a spun bearing. Got it all repaired and got rid of the loud knock. Started the car after the bearing repair it had a small fast tick when you started it or revved it past 2k rpm.i thought it was the lifters going out or something.but the ticking wasn't there till you got to that rpm range. I had someone take it on a test drive and the car just has this loud knock as soon as he pulled in the driveway and sounds bad loud knocking and ticking . If anyone knows what can possibly cause this? Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

Wrist pin in the piston have movement? Theirs probably other things to look at as well.
Probably a good Idea to take the engine apart and look for wear or loose parts.
A bad bearing might send metal else where in the engine.
I drove my car home after runing it low on oil and trashed the bearings, I did add some really think oil to get me home but above 2k rpm's it started knocking. Ended up replacing the engine because rebuilding it cost about the same as replacing the engine.

I’d suggest pistions or rings if it’s not your lifters. Are the valves good?
