:thumbs up

Keeping the tan interior, or do you plan on swapping it?
Im actually doing a black conversion as well.

Finally got the chance to finish doing all the prep work on the jambs, engine bay, and the trunk. After a good 2 coats of primer in the trunk i scuffed all of my jambs with 400 grit and then a red scotch bright and some sanding paste and then went through the masking stage a put the car in the booth to get the inside painted! The color I ended up going was with Sahara Stone Metallic (KUH) from Nissan or " Gold" like my instructor calls it. I also went ahead and cut in my fenders doors underside of the hood and my hatch to get it out of the way. Here are the pics.

Looks great man! I always love looking at progress paint. You have to have time and patience for this. Good Job.

Patience for sure man! Unfortunately, when i went to spray the car I ran into some problems. Ended up having major paint issues with fish eyes and solvent pop due to a rookie mistake. Painted the car in the afternoon and it looked perfect! When I came back in the morning the whole car was destroyed. Due to this I lost a lot of motivation on the car, seems like everything was just going wrong for me. I wasn't going to give up that easy though since I do love this car so I took it to my new shop and started stripping it! I basically have to completely take all the paint off with 40 grit and re block the entire car to try and get it as straight as possible before primer because sanding a car down with a DA makes the panels wavy.

Here are a few pictures of my home made paint booth and a few of my spray guns!
