I've got a 92 GSR. The control knob for the blower will no longer move to the Off or position 1. It will move to positions 2, 3, and 4 and those 3 positions work fine. I'm assuming something physical has broken inside the control knob. True?
Assuming that is true, I started to remove the switch module and was able to get it out just far enough to see the connector to the wire bundle.
I'm assuming I can't pull it out any further because the rest of the wire bundle back there is tie wrapped to something. I looked underneath the dash but couldn't really tell. Is there any kind of trick to this? I suppose I could remove the whole dash, but was hoping there was an easier way to replace this part, assuming that that is the problem.
