98' integra high beam melt spot

Ive been a mechanic for 40 yrs, and I don't mean backyard, I bought 100watt 9005 high beam bulbs and ive done this in glass lens fog lights no problem with wiring harness or anything. I changed my highbeam 55watt bulbs to 100watt bulbs, was having no problems, but the 98' integra highbeam light assembly is plastic and I'm starting to get a 1/2 inch melt spot in the center of the plastic lens. The problem comes from the reflector in the pencil beam type light that the integra has, it focuses the light beam more to the center of the lens than most 4 headlight systems. If it was glass this wouldn't be a problem, so for now I will use Sylvania x-bright 55w bulbs. But add Hella 500 or 550 series lights down under the bumper where the air intake area is, these lights are glass and the wiring kits come with a relay and heavy enough wiring to use 100watt bulbs. I used the 500 series on my wifes 77 dodge aspen wagon, they work amazing....
