Seems like I never see “normal” buell’s. Must be some rare buell enthusiast here [emoji23]

There’s not a big bike culture here. Plenty of Harley’s, but not even a lot of gixxers or ninja 250’s, so when you see a buell, you can bet your ass the rider is an enthusiast [emoji23]

They’re so cheap though it’d be easy for a lot of people to buy them just because of that.

Although if you bought one and liked it (which almost anyone probably would [emoji23]) you’d probably become an enthusiast pretty quickly

There’s one guy on FB that runs a Ducati and Buell shop in north Florida. He went from solely a Ducati guy to owning 15 Buells

Guy selling this said the last time it ran/was on the road was 1993.... How the fuck do you have a bike that is one of 59 built and let it sit in the corner and rot for 25 years?

I feel like that’s where most rare old bikes and cars went to. A lot of rare stuff just disappears and either never turns up because it rotted beyond help and got thrown away, or it shows up 20-80 years later in the back corner of a basement or shed.

Guy says it’s an 03 XB9 with an 1169 big bore (XB12 conversion with the 9 short stroke crank), 14:1 CR and fuel cut at 8400rpm. 114whp and 94ft/lbs on 110 octane
