I just did mine using cool white 168 bulbs. Looks badass! FYI, if you have an auto, the gear selection bulbs in the cluster are a proprietary deal AFAIK. The base itself is about an inch and a half long with a tiny bulb at the end. However, the bulb doesn't just pull out. The bulb leads run the entire length of the base.
