DC2 Power steering flush - any tricks/things to watch out for?

Crashed my racecar, resulting in damage to the front end, including a broken power steering hose where it goes out in front of the radiator to the cooling section. When I replace that part, I figure I'll do a flush as it's never had one (it's a 1993) and most of it's leaked out by now anyway.
Are there any tricks/things I need to watch out for? Is there a filter in the reservoir or anything like that? Is it easy to bleed, just by turning the wheel with the car running once it's topped up?
Just seeing if there's anything different about this setup versus other cars.
