sweet info man, kudos. speakin of vins, i thought i might mention that car thieves can steal cars with just your vin #. so you might wanna put something over yours in the windshield. but you have to figure that the odds are for you anyway though. a car thief would much rather just steal the car that's left unlocked or something.

I will be trying to get the 4th gens updated, going to go do some research. Will be coming straight from the shop manual, thats where i got all the 2nd gen info.

Im pretty sure DA6 is the Japanese vin.

That spot is a check digit, i dont think it matters what letter that is.
