I will try that on the 8 inch. Not sure if I'm going to be getting new wheels this year.

Honestly since there is not any tire size limitation I might try the 205 on an 8 then a 225 45 on an 8 or maybe a 9 and see what works out best.

My car is already setup so no major changes this year. Next year I'll be building the bottom end to get some more power so I can be on par with these k series motors.

For weight, I think I would be around 2450 with me in it so we are close.
Thinking about getting a rear lexan window to eliminate the glass

Well my first track battle time attack is a wrap.

Gridlfe 2016 at Gingerman Raceway - Track Battle

Didnt go as good as i planned, but thats racing.
1st time out, took a turn way tooo hot, spun and did a 360 and slid into the grass.
Dented my side skirts and took a little off my splitter.
Luckily, bent the side skirt back and all was good.
I will say that after that experience and my neck hurting a little bit from the whip lash, i will be getting a Hans device.
$500 is worth it and now i see it clearly.

There was a lot of really fast hondas in my group and i finished in the middle out of about 13 cars.
If i had another couple sessions out, i think i could have come in the top 5.

Well another track event is in the books.
Only change to my setup is switching tires sizes.

Running 4x100 Miata Wheels

Front: TR Motorsports 4x100 15x9 +35 wheels
Tires: Toyo RA1 224/45/15

Rear: Kosei 4x100 15x8 +35 wheels
Tires: Toyo RA1 205/50/15

Car ran very good and had tons of grip.
Ended up running a best time of 1:44.4 which was about 1 1/2 seconds quicker than my previous PB.

VTEC club was there to host the time attack.

The K-Miata is so sick.
He's a really cool guy. Started the business all by himself with just an idea.

The car is very fast too.
