My Build Thread

Hello all. I haven't been on here in almost a year lol. Much to update in the OP, but for now I'll add it here. This past month I got tuned on Hondata S300 V3. Car made 141/101 baseline and 156/117 after tune. I have graphs I can post up if anyone is interested. Additionally I've recently picked up HPDE and have successfully finished 3 track events and 1 autoX. The tracks I drove on were Texas World Speedway, Harris Hill, and MSR Houston all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. My car just will not quit lol. Everyone I raced with complained about over heating or this or that and I was just waiting for the next session haha. As far as mods go I haven't really done much else besides the tune. Next I will be buying Federal RSR's and a new sway bar and brace. This should hold me off until I'm ready to tear into the motor/head. Learned a lot over the past year and it just keeps getting better and better. Here are some links to my YouTube page with race footage.

This was my favorite video as I drove the best here out of all the sessions over the weekend. You can see here that even though my teg is lacking power in the straights, she still reels em in during turns

Sounds like you've been having a blast with the tag. Hopefully she'll keep enjoying the track. Lol. I really wish I still had my teg and a local track.

Damn it's been so long since I've even logged into this forum. Maybe I should post an update soon? I still have the Integra! 150k miles strong. Just put her under the knife and installed a Skunk2 Intake manifold with the 66mm Alpha throttle body.

If anyone in this thread is still on this forum...what up!!

I just read through the majority of this build thread...man it takes me back. Can't believe I've had this car 7 years now. Can't wait to finish her up and hit the track.

Quick question for anyone out there: does anyone have experience with aftermarket knock sensors? I know the song and dance about OEM being king, but I found an "OEM equivalent" for a fraction of the cost. I recall using an aftermarket one on my old D16Y8 Civic and never had any issues. I'm tuned on S300 and I'm almost positive my tuner disabled the knock sensor anyway, but figure I'd ask.

No personal experience, but rockauto generally sells pretty solid budget replacements sensors. I’ve put a few in some cars over the years and none of them have failed yet
