automatic. Car started fine before. Went out to the car late at night, key did not want to go into ignition, saw only two very dim lights on the dashboard (oil and battery) when I turned it on, hazard lights and horn worked. Manage to get the key into the ignition following morning and jump started the car, which didn't work of course, and then the hazards and horn didn't work this time. Tested the battery, was completely dead, so got a new one. Hazard and horn worked again but no other electronics. It did rain for the first time here in California, so checked out the wiring, the starter and fuse box and couldn't see anything wrong. what kind of test should i conduct before i pour money into fixing it?
