Any advice on what equipment I should bring or?
Never picked up an engine myself and not sure how this goes down.
Do I need chains or anything to secure the engine in the back of the pickup? Does the shop usually help load it up?
2 ppl can easily lift a long block. 2 or 3 needed if it has the trans. The shop might load it with a fork lift if they have one. Bring tie down straps.
