Power, not integra specificI

For now, as a temp situation, I wired in an extra power socket from battery. It's hot. I put in the lighter adapter, it's hot. I plug in a cable and nothing gets powered.
I'm a new owner, only guess the wiring has been fiddled to the point of breaking things. But if I can at least have 12v inside, good enough til more time to look deeper.
Not knowing, but my battery looks lawnmower sized, though it starts the car fine. I am looking up things to help

1. Unhook whatever shit you tried to wire in before your car turns into a pile of smoldering ash. It's hot because it isn't grounded properly and WILL catch something on fire.

2. Get the proper sized battery.

3. If more 12v sockets are needed, just get one of these
