Lease is coming up on 16' GTI and want to get rid of payments for a while and save money. I have a budget of about $6k to spend on a car. One option I've been looking at was a 1st gen TSX. They look decent (to me at least), have decent power, and they're a Honda (So, reliable?). From my research looks like I'd need to watch out for the transmission and make sure it was serviced around 100k miles. I had just a couple of questions: Any opinions on this car? They're going for $4-5k on Craigslist, is this a reasonable price? Anything else I should look out for when buying the TSX? Any similar cars you can recommend?
