Touch Screen double din radio.

So the stock head unit in my 04 Type S recently stopped working (CDs won't load/play) & I was thinking of getting one of the newer style radios with touch screen & Bluetooth. I prefer the stock look but I'd rather not go through the hassle of getting another head unit & having to acquire the codes, or having my CD or tape player going out on me.
Couple of questions for anyone who has made the switch to a newer style double din head unit.
What size is the head unit ? I see a lot of them vary in size and I'm not sure which one would fit with the installation kit.

All you need is the correct installation kit for your car and match those dimensions to the unit you are installing to verify it will fit. I believe its pretty straightforward
