Water leaking into car right under glovebox

Hi everyone,

Whenever it rains, water leaks into the car on the passenger side. It's not a huge leak, but the more it rains the more water that gets in. My dad and I tried putting plastic over the entire cowl, but the corners of the cowl were exposed, so my guess is that it's leaking in from there, but i'm not totally sure. Does anyone have any advice? We're rather desperate because we might just end up getting rid of the car if we can't figure it out.

take a picture of where you think its leaking. i mean this may be ghetto fixing but you may wanna silicone it.

I'll try and put up a photo tomorrow or Saturday. I mean honestly, I don't care how I fix it as long as it's fixed and at least looks rather decent.

Does it leak from underneith the glove box from a white box thing? mine has started to leak after 2 days of constant raining

Ive heard of this to fix it. Remove the windshield cowl and infront of the passenger side, you will see some weather stripping. Remove the old strip, replace with new, and your good to go. Put the cowl back on. -Aaron

mine did the same thing...the second link that ominous posted is what fixed mine
