is there a special way of getting the piston back for the rear brakes? i got the caliper off and i used a c clamp but i couldnt get it back. any suggestions?

i think last night someone got into my car. there was nothing gone but i noticed my trunk didnt want to open. the only way i could get it open was the key not my keyless entry. and it seems that my power switch for my driver side window is now loose and i had to force the switch up to get it up...

how can i check to see what code its throwing up? i remember with my friend i think he pulled out his ecu and put like a paper clip in it and it threw up some lights and you count how much lights to see what code its throwing up. can you guys help me find out what it is?
