    I have a set of arp rod bolts that are 3/8 in head size and the color is black. The thread is a little thicker than the newer ones. The ones i have are about ten years old but have never been used. I stripped one and am looking for a replacement set. I bought a brand new set, but the thread size...

    ok no jb weld. we are probably jsut gonna weld a bolt on there and take it out like that. the head is completely stripped but the thread should still be good.

    like the title says i have a stripped arp rod bolt that i need to get off to replace a rod bearing. im ****in stuck and getting annoyed because i have no ideas left. long story short my friend ****ed up my the bolt head and rounded it off pretty gaw dam smoothly. there arent any teeth left...

    hey guys im in need of new rod bearings and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of KING bearings...its all over ebay and i';ve seen it on a couple of forums...not sure if i would trust them though. i want to go acl but they are on back order so....anyone tried king rod bearings before?

    hmmm well i've been doing a little bit of research and so far people are all saying it will raise compression

    oh im sorry the compression ratio is 9:1 right now and its for a ls long block so if i put a b16 head on would it raise the compression to 10?

    yeah thats what i was thinking but a friend of mine said that in theory since the b16 head has way better airflow, the compression would change to go up or down....but as long as the cp pistons are meant for turbo (low compression) then it should be fine right?

    i just decided to go ls/vtec turbo instead of ls turbo and was wondering if i could use the cp pistons that were ment for a stock ls head or not. im wanting to get a mild build on the stock ls block and a friend of mine is selling a set of cp pistons and eagle rods but they are for a ls block...
