I see pictues of tegs with just there high beams on by themselves without there headlights on how are they able to do that??? I would really like to kno plz help

I have a k&n short ram intake....installed on my car on the intake pipe there are two holes i kno one is for the over flow but does it go in the hole or to the little pipe???? and what goes to the other hole plz help...
