No, You cannot put the High Dome Civic Type R pistons in your B18, #1 - the stroke is too long. #2 -the valve to piston clearance will be too narrow and #3 - the compression will be unstreetable. Stick with the ITR's and you'll be fine. Hope that helps.:)

Well, I would've said sterring arm bushings but you said you replaced them already. I know you say the berrings are tight, but I would start there for sure. Replace both drivers side and passenger berrings and see if the problem is better, worse or the same. This will help u know if you're in...

You can pull the pistons out the bottom but you'll need to remove the exhaust and subframe...oil pan, crank rear main, oil pump and voila...pistons pull right out downward. Its a job though, but it can be done.:)
