06 civic steering wheel on 99 gsr

I've been trying to see if anyone has ever put a 06 civic steering wheel on a 99 gsr I can't find anythig about it being done so jusyt wondering if anyone knows if it's possible or if it just won't fit.... And if it can fit can u make the controls work

you can do it the controls may not fit work though as they are connected to the stock head unit

Yea I figured the controls wouldn't work.... I might just get the steering wheel and mess with it and since the controls won't work going to see about taking them out and custom make covers for the two holes..... Any idea if the air bag will work?
