1/4 time in my '97 RS

It was a busy day so i only got 2 runs in, plus my buddy ran it once because he was convinced he could do better...he ran a 16.5 with a 2.6 0 60 ft. but my other time was a 10th slower on everything.. i have I/H/E that it
oh and i have 17" rims. its raining like hell so idk the exact size but its a 45 seires sidewalll

You need to launch harder. What RPM are you launching at? Depending on the mod's, I would assume I could get in the mid 15's on street tires with an Rs

mmm i would say at most 15.7

they say 15.7 is average time for a stock Gs-R and good driver, so an Rs with bolt ons and open header should run about the same, I think

My buddy got an Ls with bolt on's, open header, and slicks down to 15.1, so add the .5 for street tires and your mid 15's

Put 15" wheels and gut the rear interior and you'll see a nice little change.

not really the panels in total in the rear including the seats are like 30 lb.
