3 quarts oil OK to drive on?..answer fast plz

real quick question...can i drive with only 3 quarts of oil in my engine? i already drained out the old oil and noticed that i only had 3 quarts of new oil left. i jus need to make a quick trip to walmart or watevers close by

I'm not sure but I think you might have a problem with the oil pressure and IMO I wouldn’t do it.... take the bus… :lol: I don’t think a short little trip would do any damage just don’t drive it hard…

drive slow. don't rape it and go around corners slow to make sure you don't lose oil pressure and it should be fine. would make a habit of it though

You'll be fine on 3 quarts, but don't push your luck going too long low on oil.
I changed my oil today, only 3 quarts came out. I've had only 2 quarts come out in the past. :shock: If you take a corner and your oil light comes on, even if it's only for a fraction of a second, your really damn low on oil. 2 quarts max.

:nono: good way to blow motor i know because i did lose oil presure and i blew my shit sky high....i would add a extra qrt like 2.00 bucks at checker, save thousands later on...believe me

it's fine.. I've driven mine with like 2qts for about an hour, no problems. Also I fill it with 4.5 to 5 quarts, no problem.

If you gotta a fuckin B20 conv. 4 1/2 to 5 would be ok but NOT in a 1.8 lt ! Either 4 or 4.2 quarts, trust me. When I was a tech at a Honda dlrshp. and would have put 4 1/2 to 5 quarts in som1's Tegg I would have lost my job 4 that shit. :nono:

I was running 2 qts in my GS-R 1.8L block.. kept it at low rpms.
