ok well here is what happened.i used to have a 95 gsr. i sold it to my friend and a week later he wrecked it. rip michael. then i found a 2000 gsr. i bought it for 300 dollars. he threw a rod. i bought my old motor and someone took out the ecu. but i still have the blown motor and partsfrom the 2000. so all i have to do is use the 2000's obd2 dizzy?? sorry if that was confusing

Generic question, would the car still need an ODB2 set up since it's a 2000? I guess it depends on the local emissions inspection.

the emissions doesnt matter where i live. they dont care. i know that parts interchange but i didnt know about the obd1 out of the 95 and the obd 2 out of the 2000 if it was going to be a prob.
