I'm not a firm believer in that.. ys lower temps I think I have heard people log that.. but stop corrosion.. I don't think so.. and I wouldn't trust a fully built engine to a small bottle of wetter..

I use ELF/Total Glacelf Plus in my car.. it is a Phosphate free antifreeze

I've had the same car for 10.5 years with no corrosion so I don't doubt it. I think more of the corrosion comes from people using tap water than anything. Dirty water full of minerals with corrosion inhibitor is worse than pure water with nothing IMO

I really don't think corrosion in a coolant system is that big of a problem unless you don't maintain your car worth a damn. I've never had any rusting or build-up issues with any of my cooling systems. I just pulled the 10 year old radiator out of my GST like 6 months ago and it was still spotless.
