Anyone with a good idea or even knows for sure.
When I use my A/C the load on the engine is ridiculous. No i don't expect the LS with A/C to have the same power as an LS does w/out A/C but on those really hot days, i would like to keep some what cool with out the RPM's dropping down to like 500. Can Any one help!!!

My ? is how do i keep the RPM's at a decent idle with the A/C on????? PLZ HELP

Yeah JDMJim, might elaborating a bit. I wasn't sure what you meant by that either.

I wonder if they make performance a/c pumps lol.
Another thought though, maybe your a/c pump is the problem.. I never really thought that the pump put THAT much load on the engine.

In my experience the A/C pump should not drop your RPM's down to 500.. sounds like something is wrong with the pump. Take the belt off and see how tough it is to spin by hand..
