adjusting clutch on 91 gs

1st DA! FEED ME KNOWLEDGE
ok. i was looking at a couple other places on this forum and a couple other ones and i cant really find a definitive answer on how to do this properly. my clutch is fine, its got about 3500 miles on it or so. it engages/disengages properly... but i hate where the clutch releases at as far as the pedal is concerned. literally i can rest my foot on the pedal and press it in about a half an inch maybe a full inch and theres where my pedal releases at. i want it to release a couple inches off the floor board as 99% of all of my other cars have acted. if someone could be awesome and help me out a lil bit it would be greatly appreciated.

*and keep in mind this is my first da and to my knowledge one of my first cable clutches with the exception of my mustangs*
from what ive been reading theres a couple adjustment nuts on the top of the clutch pedal itself. if someone could possibly provide pictures that would be great...thanks peoples.
