Aftermarket radio does not work

I have recently purchased a aftermarket radio for my 1993 Acura Integra GS an it will not turn on or do anything. All that does happen is the rear defroster will blink twice and then nothing else afterwords. I have researched and i believe it has something to do with a anti-theft thing. I just don't know whats going on. Any suggestions / answers?

the radio does work right?
u can hook it up to a battery and find out for sure
the anti theft feature is only on stock radios and the radio itself so hooking up another radio thats aftermarket should work no problem
double check your wiring, on mine the radio didnt want to turn on with the car, if you hook up the red and yellow wires together it WILL but its the wrong way, it will stay on even after the car is off

so double check wiring and figure out what wire is and isnt working
