Has anyone compared the results to actual track results? How close are they to real life results?
One of the tuner mags either Super Street or Import Tuner, I don't remember which, tested that product. And I believe their results were actually surprisingly close to the timing lights at a 1/4mi track. I think it was something like +/- 10% disparity between the results. And so IMHO that's damn good for a phone with just a built-in accelerometer.
Something like the dynomometer results were surprisingly close as well.
I most certainly would not put money on it, but it would be a fun toy to mess around with.
